The Truth about Heaven

In John 14:6, Jesus tells us, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The only door to Heaven is through God's only son, Jesus Christ.  Here are a few things God desires every man to know:

God Loves You and Has a Plan for Your Life

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

All Men Are Sinners, and Our Sin separates us from God

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

God made man in His own image. He gave man the ability to choose right from wrong. We choose to sin. Our sins keep us from God.

God’s Word Tells Us that Sin Must be Paid For

“For the wages of sin is death....” Romans 6:23

Wages means payment. The payment of our sin is death, hell, and separation from God forever. If we go on in our sin we will die without Christ and be without God forever.

The Good News Is That Christ Paid For Our Sins

All of our sins were laid on Christ on the cross. He paid our sin debt for us. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, and he arose from the dead. He is alive forevermore.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

We Must Receive Christ By Faith

The Bible says,  "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13

Having eternal life is not a matter of an action we take; it is a matter of truly believing in the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is not an undertaking, it is an understanding that Christ died so that we could be saved.  Do you believe that the blood that Christ shed in His death is enough to forgive your sins, and take you to Heaven when you die?  If so, ask Him to forgive you, and confess Christ as your Savior.

The Bible says, "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
